Dear America,
Life is sweet.
On Wednesday we had so many appointments cancel that we had to entirely abandon our plan for the day. My companion happened to come across Luke 14:18-20 while we were having all of our appointments cancel. It talks about how "they all with one consent began to make excuse." Haha it was perfect.
We met with a neat new investigator both yesterday and today. He's come to church several times. He lives in Krobo, so we referred him to the other elders, but they referred him back to us because he's closer to our chapel. We had given him a copy of the Book of Mormon when he came to church. He had gone home, prayed about it, and gotten his answer all on his own. We didn't even tell him to. So that was fantastic. He also had an interesting dream about how he would bring others into the church. He took that as personal revelation.
Speaking of dreams, the first counselor in the branch has been getting ready to go to the temple. Elder Wood helped him to look up and prepare the name of his dead older brother to take through the temple. That very night, he had a dream of his brother dressed in Sunday attire. It was a good experience that helped strengthen his testimony of temple work.
My companion also had a revelatory dream just before we came to the café. Coupled with several other interesting experiences, this transfer has officially had the highest amount of revelation through dreams that I've ever heard of. Maybe other people just have a lot more faith in dreams than I do. But I'm ok with that.
Love,
Elder Nelson
